1.杭州观成中学简介
杭州观成中学是下城区民办初中教育集团——杭州启正教育集团下属的一所新兴民办学校。学校坐落于杭州市下城区朝晖六区光明巷，占地面积17278平方米。现有专任教师62人，其中高级教师16人，获省级综合荣誉教师2人，获市级综合荣誉教师15人，获区级综合荣誉教师30人。学校现有七年级至九年级共19个教学班，在校学生832人。其中，住校学生共计114人。
1. Introduction of Hangzhou Guancheng Middle School
Hangzhou Guancheng Middle School, subordinated to Hangzhou Qizheng Education Group, is an emerging private school. Located in Guangming Lane of Zhaohui Sixth Area of Xiacheng District, school covers an area of 17278 square meters. Hangzhou Guancheng Middle School has 62 full-time teachers, of whom 16 are senior teachers, 2 are provincial comprehensive honor teachers, 15 are municipal comprehensive honor teachers and 30 are district comprehensive honor teachers. School has 19 classes ranging from Grade 7 to 9, containing 832 students, of whom 114 are boarding.
2.养正观成的源起
养正观成，意即“养正达道，自然大成”。“养正”两字取自《周易·蒙卦》“蒙以养正，圣功也”。启蒙是为了培养纯正无邪的品质，这是圣人的成功之路。而校名“观成”两字，则典出《周易·贲卦》“观乎人文，以化成天下”，教育学生在获取文化正能量的同时，不断提升自身的思想境界，最终成就各自生命的健康成长，实现个人进步和国家发展的理想。
2.The Origin of Yang Zheng Guan Cheng
Yang Zheng Guan Cheng, according to Chinese culture, means righteousness, once cultivated at the beginning, will result in success naturally. The words of ‘Yang Zheng’ originated from Hexagrams of Meng of the Book of Changes, which means the enlightenment is to cultivaterighteousness, a saint's way to succeed. The words of ‘Guan Cheng’, the name of the school, comes from Hexagrams of Ben of the Book of Changes, which means education assists students acquire positive energy and constantly improve their own ideological realm to achieve the healthy growth of their lives, as well as realize personal progress and national development.

4.观成中学的国际化教育

4.Internationalized Education of Guancheng Middle School
Adhere to the principle of coordination of coming-in and going-out, Guancheng Middle School adopts curriculum-based teaching in internationalized education, to cultivate citizens with Chinese souls and international hearts. 学校秉承开放办学的理念，注重合作与交流，积极探索基于国际视野下的学校发展战略研究与实践，用文化敲开世界之门。在学校教育教学过程中加强师生的国际化理念教育，推动跨文化交流，为教师创造国际化的教学、科研氛围，为增进学生对不同国家、不同文化的认识与理解搭建平台，注重学生世界意识的培养。 2015年，学校被评为杭州市首批国家化教育示范性学校，“学游澳洲·开放观成”的国际理解教育项目也获得了杭州市重点国际化教育培养项目。
5. Achievements of internationalized education
Guancheng Middle School, adhering to the conception of running school with open mind and based on international perspective, focuses on cooperationand exchanges, exploresthe research and practice of school development strategy and opens the door to the world with culture. In the process of educating and teaching, the international understanding is rooted in the hearts of both teachers and students. Guancheng Middle School creates the atmosphere of internationalized teaching and researching for teachers and establishes the platform of realizing and understanding different countries and cultures for students. In the year of 2015, Guancheng MiddleSchool was named as the first NationalizedEducation Demonstration School in Hangzhou. And the international understanding education program, ‘Study Tour in Australia& Open Mind for Guancheng’, also was regarded as the key internationalized education program in Hangzhou.
